The rain didn’t dull our sparkle for our annual Milnrow and Newhey District Carnival. With our Hawaiian themed float, our families spread the Jolly Josh Joy. The float was decorated with grass skirts, Hawaiian bunting and our very own Tiki bar, but most importantly the children had an abundance of fun. It is with thank you to two fantastic sponsors that we had for our event. Hampton by Hilton In Rochdale and First Bus. Both companies sponsored our float and enabled us to decorate, provide bubble guns and ensure the day was a huge success. We were thrilled to show case the fantastic surfboards which were custom made especially for our event by PDS doorset. These were hand painted by the children who visit Jolly Josh which they thoroughly enjoyed. Meanwhile at the park, we held a tombola stall, ran by our fantastic volunteers.
I am sure from the pictures, you can see the fun that was had, and we were certainly singing and dancing in the rain.
