A week of Thank you’s for 4 successful Grants
It was a week of great news for Jolly Josh last week when we received not one, but 4 fantastic grants which all go towards us raising the much needed £50k for the repair of our hydrotherapy pool.
Our Jolly Josh Hydrotherapy Suite features a 2.5m x 5m pool equipped with a ceiling hoist system, along with a projector and music system to enhance the experience.
Our pool provides hydrotherapy sessions led by skilled staff, including hydro lead Natalie, as well as Family Splash and Splash Together sessions, which allow families to bond in a therapeutic environment.
However, maintaining the hydrotherapy pool is costly due to the required room and water temperatures, as well as regular maintenance. Offering 50 sessions a week, these important grants, will enable us to continue to offer the incredible support to our families
We were overwhelmed to receive £20,000 from The National Lottery Community Fund,
Another fabulous Grant of £1860.02 was awarded from ‘The Crane fund’ who are kindly supporting our repairs and understand the need for their support.
Next, we heard the remarkable news that our grant application to Morrisons had been achieved . We received £4,278 from Morrisons who continue to support our community and understand our mission. We are thrilled to have the support from our local Morrisons store who help us out in many ways throughout the year.
We were then informed with the amazing news that we received £2,200. from Manchester Guardian Society.
