Last Friday, we proudly hosted our very first Jolly Josh Anchor Network Group, welcoming 25 attendees from businesses across Greater Manchester. It was a fantastic morning of networking, learning, and bringing people together to support our community.
We were privileged to welcome our first guest speaker, Azeem Amir ( professional England footballer, disability awareness advocate, public speaker, and founder of Learn With ESS.)
Azeem shared his inspiring journey and spoke about diverse teaching styles, inclusion, and accessibility. Guests also had the opportunity to see the powerful AI technology glasses that have enabled Azeem, who is visually impaired, to independently take part in activities such as go-karting. His story was both motivating and thought-provoking, leaving a lasting impression on everyone in attendance.
