Can you believe the Jolly Josh centre is 2 years old? We are proud to have brought so many families together in these two years and our Jolly Josh family has grown bigger than we ever dreamed possible.
We have had a fantastic week with families Joining us to celebrate our birthday! Our Multifunction room was filled with balloons, banners, squirty cream birthday cakes and most importantly fun, joy and laughter, creating unforgettable moments.
We love to reflect over the last year, and it is fabulous to see how far we have come. The impact and support from donations can be seen at Jolly Josh with our fabulous inclusive equipment. With our new projector and music system, interactive furniture and sensory equipment, Jolly Josh has welcomed more than double the number of families than last year. We have had plenty of fundraising events such as the Great Northwest Truck Show, and an impressive float at the Milnrow Carnival. Our Christmas Quiz and Christmas fair doubled the amount of money raised. And it is with thanks to so many local businesses that we can put on these events. We have been thrilled with each fundraiser and supporter, from sponsored walks to a sea of blue vests, raising the Jolly Josh flag in the Rochdale half marathon and 10K. What a fantastic year it has been, and we are so thankful for it all.
And keeping in with the doubled theme I think we can certainly wish Jolly Josh a happy 2nd Birthday.
